Artie and Bones

Creating the Artie and Bones book series has been a collaborative Field Family effort. 

The idea actually came from my husband and son and it all began one morning as they walked to the school bus stop. 

They started talking about my love for art, animals and  rock painting for kindness and decided that it would be a great idea if I created characters and wrote a book based on my love for these things.

And so I did!

My husband had already decided that the dog who loved to paint should be named Artie because it had the word ART in the name. I couldn't agree more! As we sat and tried to figure out the rest of the story and possible characters in the book, we decided that Artie should have a trusty sidekick. That is where my angel dog Piccino began to once again  inspire me. I was sitting under the painting that I did of Piccino when I came up with the name of Bones and the rest is history.

After we had come up with the names Artie and Bones, we had no idea what to do with them until I was inspired by Piccino once again. Piccino had recently been inspiring me from Heaven as I was creating several pet paintings, so I decided to base the story of Artie and Bones on my real life experience with Piccino. I would put it into book form and use our story to help spread kindness with painted rocks.

Writing the Artie and Bones book has been a learning experience for me and I look forward to creating more Artie and Bones stories in the future.

The future has a lot in store for Artie and Bones and it is my goal to create an inspiring book series that helps others while spreading kindness around the world.

Each book will be theme based and serve as a learning tool to bring awareness to certain topics and the importance of friendship and kindness.

Each book will also consist of characters that are inspired by our real life family pets!

I have already written and illustrated the second Artie and Bones book and look forward to its release date coming soon!
